Синт-Трјуден против ОХ Леувен

Leuven won 2-1 at St. Truiden on Sunday, and the home side had two penalties saved in the first half before they went behind. Both spot kicks came inside ten minutes. After a handball by Ewout Pletinckx, Ilias Sebaoui took the first in the 23rd minute and Dani van den Heuvel saved it. A foul on Sissako brought a second penalty, and Nathanaël Mbuku sent it to the same corner in the 32nd minute. The keeper stopped that one as well. Mbuku did put the hosts in front in the 46th minute. Robin Mirisola, who comes from the area, headed in a corner to level in the 53rd. Davis Opoku scored the winner in the 81st minute on a counter-attack, and VAR left the goal alone. Five yellow cards followed, Kaito Matsuzawa among them, but there was no red. It is a fifth league defeat in a row for St. Truiden, who lost 3-2 at Club Brugge the week before. Leuven have now gone five matches without defeat.
