Villarreal vs PSG

Paris Saint-Germain won 6-0 at Villarreal in the Champions League, and the game was effectively over inside 17 minutes. Four goals went in during that spell, which Morning-Foot reports as the fastest any team has reached that total in the competition. João Neves scored first in the 9th minute from close range, after a corner and a deflection off Willian Pacho. Désiré Doué made it 2-0 in the 12th when Péter Gulácsi distributed poorly, and Senny Mayulu finished a minute later after a high recovery by Achraf Hakimi. Fabián Ruiz added the fourth in the 17th. It was 4-0 at the break. Ruiz struck again in the 50th minute with his left foot, set up by Vitinha. David Boly, a 17-year-old who had replaced Hakimi, scored his first Champions League goal in the 78th. There were no red cards and no penalties. PSG have won all four league phase games, with 12 points and a goal difference of +15. Villarreal stay on three points. PSG host Roma on November 25.
