Nacional vs Juventud

Nacional and Juventud shared a wild 2-2 draw at the Gran Parque Central, with the home side somehow letting a late lead slip through their fingers in stoppage time. It capped an up-and-down afternoon in the Primera Division's Clausura tournament, one that started fast and finished with real heartbreak for the tricolores. Bruno Larregui shocked the home crowd inside two minutes, finishing off a long ball forward. Nacional answered almost immediately through Lucas Rodríguez in the 8th minute, pouncing on a goalkeeping error. The hosts then went ahead in the 67th minute when Francisco Calvo headed home a Martirena corner. Yellow cards went to Kevin Rolón and Barrandeguy, but no one saw red. Just when three points looked secure, Agustín Alaniz struck in the 94th minute after a slick move involving Fernando Mimbacas, snatching a point for the visitors. For Nacional, it's a frustrating result that halts a three-game unbeaten run under Daniel Carreño right when momentum was building. Juventud, meanwhile, will feel the late equalizer is worth its weight in gold on the road.
