ژاپن مقابل ونزوئلا

Japan snatched a dramatic 2-1 win over Venezuela in Hiroshima, needing a stoppage-time penalty from Ayase Ueda to complete a comeback in this international friendly. The game was goalless at the break, but Venezuela struck first through Kevin Kelsy in the 46th minute. Japan responded almost immediately as Ueda equalized just three minutes later. The decisive moment arrived deep into second-half stoppage time when Ueda converted from the spot after Takefusa Kubo was fouled in the box by Yangel Herrera, confirmed by VAR. Bookings were shared around, with Ao Tanaka seeing yellow for Japan, while Jon Aramburu and José Contreras were cautioned for Venezuela. For Japan, the win offers another reminder of Ueda's poacher instincts and squad depth heading into a busy international calendar. Venezuela, despite the defeat, showed resilience by grabbing an early second-half lead before being undone by a late penalty, useful experience as they continue building toward future qualifying campaigns.
