Orlando Pirates vs Sekhukhune

Orlando Pirates made it another routine night at home, beating Sekhukhune United 2-0 in the Betway Premiership at Orlando Stadium. The Buccaneers controlled the game and made their dominance count with two clinical first-half strikes, coming just days after the sides had already met in the MTN8 semi-final. Boitumelo Radiopane opened the scoring in the first half, then turned creator, driving through midfield and slipping the ball to Oswin Appollis, who finished coolly with his right foot to double the lead. There were no red cards or penalties, just a Pirates side taking its chances efficiently while a Sekhukhune team missing both starting full-backs struggled to respond. The win stretches Orlando Pirates' lead at the top of the table to ten points and keeps their unbeaten domestic run intact. For Sekhukhune United, it's a second loss to Pirates in less than a week, leaving them stuck in sixth with work to do to close the gap.
