ماملودی سانداونز مقابل ماروموگالانتس

Mamelodi Sundowns made home advantage count at Loftus Versfeld, seeing off Marumo Gallants 2-0 in a Betway Premiership clash the Brazilians controlled from start to finish. The standout moment came just before the half-hour mark, when a set piece caused chaos in the Gallants box and the hosts made the most of it. It was Malibongwe Khoza who broke the deadlock in the 25th minute, his corner-kick delivery deflecting awkwardly off a defender and looping into the net. Khoza picked up a yellow card later for a midfield foul, but it didn't dampen the mood. Sundowns doubled their lead early in the second half through Cassius Mailula, who finished coolly after Brayan Muñiz slipped him in at the edge of the box. The win keeps Sundowns unbeaten at home against this opponent, stretching their head-to-head advantage, while Marumo Gallants remain without a win this season, stuck on a single point after two league outings. A rescheduled fixture, but a familiar story for the Brazilians.
