گزارش بازی: ریو آوه 3-2 سی‌دی ناسیونال
Rio Ave edged Nacional 3-2 in a wild Primeira Liga clash, grinding out victory despite playing over half the match with ten men. It was the perfect start for new manager Vasco Seabra in his Rio Ave debut.
Nacional struck first through Njoya in the 32nd minute, but Clemmensen leveled seven minutes later. Rio Ave then lost João Tomé to a second yellow card in the 54th minute, yet kept their composure. Diogo Bezerra put them ahead in the 57th, only for Njoya to grab his second and restore parity in the 59th. Jalen Blesa proved the hero, slotting home a 72nd-minute penalty won after a foul in the box.
The result hands Seabra a dream start and a timely lift for Rio Ave. For Nacional, Njoya's brace wasn't enough, and the loss only deepens a troubling run for the Madeira club.
