Santa Clara vs Braga

Santa Clara and Braga shared a scoreless draw at the Estádio de São Miguel, in a tense Round 7 clash that came down to fine margins. The standout moment arrived deep into stoppage time, when Fernando somehow failed to convert with the goal gaping in the 90+2nd minute, sparing Braga from a late heartbreak. Chances came and went all afternoon without a breakthrough. Vinícius Lopes tested the frame of the goal for Santa Clara in the 20th minute, before Pau Victor replied for Braga nine minutes later, his effort brushing the outside of the post. After the break, Brenner forced a smart save out of goalkeeper Bernardo Fontes. Seven players were booked across both sides, including Tiago Ribeiro, Adrian Bajrami, and João Moutinho, but no one saw red. The point keeps Santa Clara unbeaten and level with Sporting CP in the table, having now drawn three times after a run of two straight wins. Braga stays sixth but still holds a game in hand, leaving their push toward the top very much alive.
