اف‌سی آروکا مقابل سی‌دی سانتا کلارا

Santa Clara made the early running count at São Miguel Arcanjo, riding a dominant first half to a 2-1 win over Arouca in round six of the Primeira Liga. The visitors looked sharp and clinical while the hosts struggled to find their footing before the break. Gonçalo Paciência opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, his fifth goal in six league outings this season, before Djé Tavares doubled the lead in the 37th with his first goal for the club. Arouca responded immediately after the restart through Ivan Barbero in the 46th minute, assisted by Djouahra, and pushed hard for an equalizer the rest of the way. Lucas Soares produced a crucial late block to deny Barbero, and Santa Clara saw out the win despite going down to ten men in the 84th minute when Luiz Salles was shown a second yellow card. The result lifts Santa Clara provisionally into third place on 14 points, keeping their unbeaten start intact and edging them ahead of Sporting, who still have a game in hand. For Arouca, it's a frustrating missed opportunity after a spirited second-half response, leaving them fifth on 10 points.
