Paderborn vs Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt left Paderborn with a 2-2 draw after Jonathan Burkardt scored with a backheel deep in stoppage time. The visitors had played the last quarter of an hour a man short. Burkardt put Frankfurt ahead in the 23rd minute, finishing a pull-back from Farès Chaïbi. Raphael Obermair levelled on 45 minutes, sending the ball through the legs of Noah Atubolu. Marvin Pieringer then gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute, after a challenge by Lilian Brassier. Two minutes later Elias Baum was sent off for a second yellow card. Atubolu went forward for a late corner, headed it on, and Burkardt turned it in at 90+3. The afternoon was played in an unusually quiet stadium. A Frankfurt supporter fell from the away stand and was taken to hospital, and both sets of fans stopped singing. Frankfurt stay eighth on 12 points. Paderborn are 11th on 10.
