هامبورگ مقابل بوروسیا مونشن‌گلادباخ

Hamburger SV ended a run of three straight defeats on Friday, beating Borussia Mönchengladbach 3-1 at the Volksparkstadion in front of 57,000. The visitors played the last 40 minutes a man short after Ko Itakura was sent off. Miro Muheim gave the hosts the lead in the 11th minute with a shot from about 30 metres into the bottom corner. Joe Scally levelled in the 44th, hitting from range, and the ball took a touch off teammate Robin Hack on the way in. The game turned four minutes after the restart. Ko Itakura, already booked, fouled Albert Grönbaek and saw a second yellow in the 49th. Shafiq Nandja then scored his first Bundesliga goal, aged 19, in the 59th or 60th depending on the source, and Grönbaek made it 3-1 from 27 metres in the 70th. The win was Hamburger SV's third at home this season and lifted them to 12 points from nine games, eighth at least until Saturday. Borussia Mönchengladbach, five matches into Alexander Blessin's time in charge, stay bottom on four points. Hamburg travel to Werder Bremen on 22 November.
