کانادا مقابل مراکش

Morocco ended Canada's fairytale home run with a commanding 3-0 victory in Houston, knocking the co-hosts out of their own World Cup in the Round of 16. Azzedine Ounahi's brace was the decisive contribution in what became a brutal second-half turnaround. Canada dominated the first half, with goalkeeper Yassine Bounou twice denying Jonathan David and Tani Oluwaseyi to keep things level. But Morocco clicked into gear after the break: Ounahi opened the scoring in the 50th minute after Achraf Hakimi's precise free-kick delivery, then doubled it in the 82nd with a composed finish set up by Brahim Diaz. Soufiane Rahimi completed the rout with a clinical left-footed counter-attack finish deep in stoppage time. Canada leave as the first co-hosts ever eliminated from a joint World Cup, their impressive group-stage run ultimately undone by Morocco's ruthless second half. Morocco march on to the quarterfinals, where France or Paraguay await.
