لاتزیو مقابل مانتووا 1911

Lazio's Coppa Italia campaign ended in humiliating fashion as second-division Mantova stunned the hosts 0-2 at the Olimpico, marking a nightmare competitive debut for new coach Gennaro Gattuso. The hosts dominated possession but lacked cutting edge, with Matteo Cancellieri squandering the best chances as Mantova's defense held firm through a goalless first half. The deadlock broke in the 75th minute when Francesco Ruocco finished clinically from close range, set up by Davide Bragantini. Deep into stoppage time, Ismael Cajazzo sealed it on the counter, assisted by David Wieser. Yellow cards went to Nicolò Rovella, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and Cancellieri for Lazio, and Bodin Tomasevic for Mantova, though no red cards or penalties were shown. For Mantova, it's a historic scalp that sends them through to face Lecce or Palermo next. For Lazio, the embarrassment raises early questions about Gattuso's tenure, with focus now shifting to the Serie A opener against Bologna as they look to move past a chastening night at home.
