ولگا اولیانوفسک مقابل ینیسی

Yenisey arrived in Ulyanovsk and left with three points, winning 2-1 on the opening day of the FNL 2026/27 season. A stunning two-minute burst midway through the first half proved the decisive spell. Rodion Pechura broke the deadlock in the 25th minute, and Marat Tlekhugov doubled the advantage just two minutes later. Vladislav Yakovlev pulled one back for Volga in the 35th to keep the game alive, but the hosts couldn't find a second. Tlekhugov and Yakovlev were both booked right on the stroke of half-time, adding some needle to an already feisty affair, though no red cards materialised despite 22 fouls from the hosts. Volga dominated with 58% possession and eight corners to Yenisey's two, but sharpness in front of goal eluded them. Yenisey bank a confident road win to start the campaign on the front foot, while Volga head to the drawing board after being punished for just two minutes of defensive sleep.
