کریستال پالاس مقابل نیوکاسل یونایتد

Newcastle won 2-0 at Crystal Palace on Sunday, scoring both goals inside the first 13 minutes of the second half. The home crowd booed at the end, and the pressure on Palace manager Pierre Sage is mounting. The first half offered little. Dan Burn headed just wide and Fabian Schär was booked for a late foul on Jean-Philippe Mateta, but neither side created much. Newcastle then broke through two minutes after the restart. Jacob Murphy crossed from the right and William Osula finished past Walter Benitez in the 47th minute. A Joe Willock goal was ruled out for offside after a VAR check, but the second arrived in the 58th minute. Amar Dedic crossed from the right and Harvey Barnes volleyed it in. Palace improved late on, with Lukas Hornicek saving from Adam Wharton and Dario Osorio. Yeremy Pino was booked after a scuffle with Osula, and Jaydee Canvot picked up a yellow in stoppage time. For Newcastle it is a clean sheet and three points on the road. Palace go home without a goal and with Sage under scrutiny.
