استون ویلا مقابل منچستر سیتی

Aston Villa beat Manchester City 2-1 at Villa Park, and Nicolas Jackson scored both goals. It was the first league defeat of the season for City, and the first domestic loss of Enzo Maresca's time in charge. Jackson put the hosts ahead in the 6th minute. John McGinn won the ball back from Marc Guehi and the striker finished past Gianluigi Donnarumma. City were slow to find a way in after that. Iliman Ndiaye hit the post for Villa and Zion Suzuki saved from Rayan Cherki. Maresca brought on Phil Foden at the break. City levelled in the 52nd minute when Erling Haaland headed in a cross from Ndiaye. Eight minutes later Jackson struck again, with the shot going under Donnarumma. Haaland had a late header cleared off the line by Ian Maatsen. Villa move up to sixth and have now beaten City at home four seasons running. City lose their unbeaten record, and Arsenal can take top spot if they win against Everton.
