RAAL La Louviere vs Club Brugge KV

Club Brugge made light work of RAAL La Louvière, cruising to a comfortable 4-1 win on the road. The visitors were in control for most of the afternoon, though the home side gave the scoreline a respectable look late on and had a shout for a second goal denied by VAR. The result stretched Brugge's winning run to four straight league games. Hugo Vetlesen opened the scoring in the 34th minute before Jan Virgili doubled the lead right before the break. Nicolo Tresoldi converted a penalty early in the second half to make it 3-0. Nolan Gillot pulled one back for the hosts in the 64th minute, and La Louvière thought they had a route back into the game when referee Lothar D'Hondt pointed to the spot for a challenge on Issa Kabore-area play involving Jorne Spileers, only for VAR to overturn the call. Félix Lemaréchal sealed it deep into stoppage time. The win sends Club Brugge to the top of the Jupiler Pro League table with 21 points from eight matches, with their attention now turning to a Champions League clash against Inter Milan. RAAL La Louvière stay stuck in the relegation zone on just 4 points, their defensive struggles continuing despite flashes of second-half fight.
