เมเคอเลน vs อันเดอร์เลชท์

Anderlecht ground out a narrow 0-1 win away at KV Mechelen, with the visitors' new striker delivering the game's only moment of quality just before the break. It wasn't pretty, but for a Brussels side short on results lately, three points were all that mattered. The breakthrough came in first-half stoppage time when Tawfik Bentayeb latched onto a low cross from Ilias Koutsoupias at the near post and finished with real composure. Giulian Biancone picked up an early yellow card and later had to be withdrawn through injury, replaced by Andrew Omobamidele. Mechelen pushed hard after the interval, with goalkeeper Colin Coosemans called into action repeatedly, and Marsa came closest to an equalizer when his header drifted just over the bar late on. For Anderlecht, it's a much-needed away win to nudge them up to 10 points. KV Mechelen, meanwhile, remain rooted to the bottom with just 2 points from six matches, still searching for their first league win of the campaign.
