او.ها لوون مقابل استاندارد لیژ

Standard Liège edged a spirited OH Leuven 1-2 in their Pro League clash at Den Dreef, riding an early penalty before a quickfire response settled it. The standout moment came just two minutes after Leuven had leveled the score, when the visitors immediately struck back to snuff out the home side's momentum. Casper Nielsen opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 8th minute. OH Leuven got back level through Wouter George, assisted by Ikwuemesi, in the 65th, but Dennis Eckert restored Standard's lead just two minutes later. George's display earned him Player of the Match despite the defeat, while four yellow cards were shown and no red cards. For OH Leuven, the numbers will sting, 22 shots and majority possession produced just a single goal, and they remain winless in six matches. Standard Liège, meanwhile, showed clinical edge to claim a third straight win in the fixture and open the season with momentum.
