Lommel vs Sporting Charleroi

Charleroi spoiled a historic night for Lommel SK, edging out a 1-0 win in what was Lommel's first top-flight home fixture in 23 years. The visitors dominated from the opening whistle, peppering the box with crosses and chances while the hosts were mostly pinned back. Patrick Pflücke came closest early on, rattling the post, and goalkeeper Pieklak kept things level with a string of saves before the break. The deadlock finally broke in the 63rd minute when Amine Boukamir lashed home a deflected corner from outside the area for his first professional goal. Lommel searched for a response but couldn't fashion a clear chance, and Lucas Schoofs picked up a late yellow card in the 85th minute as frustration crept in. The result lifts Charleroi to six points from two games, joining the pack at the top of the table, while Lommel SK stay rooted near the bottom with just one point as their top-flight comeback continues to search for its first home win.
