OH Leuven vs Club Brugge

Club Brugge KV made it two wins from two with a comfortable 3-0 win away at OH Leuven, and the game turned early when home goalkeeper Dani van den Heuvel badly misjudged a corner. The former Brugge backup, now between the sticks for Leuven, fumbled the cross straight into the path of Mamadou Diakhon, who tapped in from close range in the 26th minute. That error set the tone. Brandon Mechele doubled the lead in the 60th minute, also finishing from a corner, before substitute Nicolo Tresoldi added a third in the 83rd minute after a slick return pass from Félix Lemaréchal. No cards or penalties disrupted the afternoon; Brugge simply controlled the game from the moment they went ahead. The result stretches Brugge's dominance in this fixture to nine straight wins and keeps them top of the table with 6 points and a perfect goal record after two rounds. For OH Leuven, it's a second defeat in as many games, leaving them bottom of the standings without a point and with early defensive issues to address.
