Atlètic Club d'Escaldes vs Mornar

Atletic Escaldes produced a breathtaking comeback to beat Mornar Bar 2-1 in their UEFA Conference League first-round qualifier. The hero was Borja Morales Osuna, who scored twice in the dying stages to overturn a deficit that had stood for the best part of the match. It was Mornar Bar who struck first, with Darko Zorić putting the Montenegrins ahead in the 8th minute, a lead they protected deep into the second half. Morales Osuna finally broke through in the 83rd minute, then delivered a stunning winner in stoppage time (90+2'). The match also produced four yellow cards across both sides, including one for Morales Osuna himself just moments after his equaliser. The result snaps Mornar Bar's remarkable 19-match unbeaten run and gives Atletic Escaldes a precious advantage heading into next week's return leg in Montenegro. Few would have expected the Andorran side to be celebrating at the final whistle.
