لمان مقابل لوریان

Le Mans made the perfect start and never let it slip, beating Lorient 2-1 at Stade Marie-Marvingt in matchday 5 of Ligue 1. A lightning opener inside the first three minutes set the tone, and the hosts controlled the game from there.

Adil Ali Mohamed Bourabaa struck in the 3rd minute to give Le Mans an early cushion, and Habib Diallo doubled the lead in the 57th minute, finishing off a pass from Lucas Bretelle. Lorient pushed back and got a goal through Isak Jensen in the 78th minute, set up by Arsène Kouassi, but couldn't find a leveller as Le Mans saw out the closing stages. No red cards were shown, though both sides picked up yellow cards in a physical, incident-filled second half.

The win lifts Le Mans to 6 points and 8th place, a solid platform early in the campaign, while Lorient drop to 11th on 5 points and will need to tighten up defensively after conceding twice inside the opening hour.
