Feyenoord made light work of NEC Nijmegen at the Goffertstadion, turning a tight contest into a comfortable 3-1 away win with a devastating second-half burst. The visitors were second-best for long spells on the ball, but their clinical edge in front of goal made all the difference.

Gjivai Zechiël broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute and then turned provider, setting up Luciano Valente (61') and Jerayno Schaken (64') to put the game out of reach. Darko Nejasmic had briefly leveled things for the hosts in the 55th minute, but NEC couldn't build on it. Bookings were shown to Noé Lebreton, Oussama Targhalline, and Zechiël as the game grew feisty late on.

Despite dominating possession, NEC leave empty-handed and will need to sharpen their finishing to turn control into points. For Feyenoord, it's a statement road win built on ruthless efficiency, with Zechiël's man-of-the-match display a big early-season signal.
