آمریکا مقابل پاچوکا

Pachuca won 2-1 at the Estadio Azteca, beating league leaders Club America after going ahead early and then holding on for the late winner. The visitors lost a penalty to VAR along the way. Alan Bautista opened the scoring in the 12th minute, punishing a mistake by Erick Sanchez in the home build-up. Eight minutes later the referee pointed to the spot for a foul by goalkeeper Luis Angel Malagon, but VAR reviewed it and the decision was overturned. Henry Martin levelled in the 46th minute, controlling a cross from Brian Rodriguez. Oussama Idrissi settled it in the 74th minute with a right-footed finish after a pass from Bautista. Miguel Borja then failed to connect with an open goal in the 92nd minute, which would have made it 2-2. Club America stay top on 27 points despite the defeat. Pachuca climb to 16 points and sit 13th in the table.
