لئون مقابل آمریکا

América won 5-3 at León in an open, noisy Liga MX game and stayed first in the table. They led by two at half-time and were 4-2 up before León made the closing minutes uncomfortable. Henry Martín put América ahead from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute, after VAR reviewed a foul by Juan Guevara on Brian Rodríguez. The decision drew plenty of complaint. Carlos Álvarez made it 2-0 in the 34th. José Alvarado headed one back for León early in the second half, but Erick Sánchez restored the two-goal lead in the 57th. Iván Moreno pulled it back to 3-2 in the 81st, then Óscar Perea (83rd) and Rodríguez (89th) made it 5-2. Ismael Díaz headed in a corner in added time for 5-3. León stay on 18 points and slip away from the top places. They visit Tigres next, while América host Atlas.
