AC Milan marked San Siro's 100th anniversary in perfect fashion, brushing aside Lecce 3-0 in a display that had the home crowd purring from the opening exchanges. The standout moment came early, with Christian Pulisic announcing his return to the lineup in style after a run of rotation. Pulisic broke the deadlock in the 14th minute, cushioning a clipped ball over the top from Strahinja Pavlovic before drilling home left-footed. Adrien Rabiot doubled the lead in the 61st minute, finishing at the near post off a slick return pass from Gonçalo Ramos, and Diego Moreira added a third in the 73rd minute after Ramos held off his marker to tee him up. No cards or penalties disrupted the afternoon. The win snapped a rough patch for Milan, who had drawn consecutive league games before a midweek Europa League mauling by Benfica, and with Inter and Roma splitting points elsewhere, the Rossoneri closed to within two of the summit. For an injury-hit Lecce, it extended a miserable San Siro record stretching back to 2019.
