Napoli vs Bologna

Napoli returned to winning ways with a tight 1-0 victory over Bologna at home, snapping a rough patch of results just when pressure was mounting on the squad. It wasn't a classic, but a clinical second-half finish was enough to settle things and lift the mood around the club. The only goal came in the 66th minute, when Stanislav Lobotka latched onto a low cross from Costantino Favasuli and slotted it home from close range. Before that, Bologna thought they'd taken the lead through Arthur Theate, but his 10th-minute header was chalked off for offside. Rasmus Hojlund also had a header drift wide for the hosts earlier on, in a game that stayed lively even if chances were limited. For Napoli, the win halts a three-game losing run and offers some much-needed relief after a difficult stretch. Bologna, meanwhile, continue to struggle for goals and points, leaving their early-season form firmly in crisis mode.
