جنوا مقابل فروزینونه کالچو

Genoa finally picked up a point, drawing 1-1 with Frosinone at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The moment of the match was Lorenzo Colombo's missed penalty just before halftime, the first spot-kick miss of the new Serie A season, denying Genoa a first-half lead. Frosinone struck first through Giorgi Kvernadze in the 14th minute, cutting inside to finish. Genoa equalized after the break when Johan Vasquez volleyed home a Djibril Sow corner in the 50th minute. Vasquez was again involved late, picking up a second yellow card in the 86th minute for hauling back Seydou Fini and leaving Genoa with ten men. Goalkeeper Justin Bijlow then denied both Kvernadze and Tomas Bobcek with late saves to preserve the point. The result ends a rough start for Genoa after three straight losses, while Frosinone stay unbeaten despite seeing their two-game winning run come to a halt.
