Liechtenstein vs Kyperen

Cyprus made it a comfortable day's work in Vaduz, beating Liechtenstein 2-0 in a one-sided friendly at the Rheinpark Stadion. The visitors controlled proceedings from the first whistle, with Marinos Tzionis's clinical 28th-minute finish the standout moment of the afternoon. Tzionis broke the deadlock after a sharp assist from Angelos Neofytou, giving Cyprus a well-deserved lead at the break. Constantinos Sotiriou then doubled the advantage in the 69th minute, converting a cross from Grigoris Kastanos. Liechtenstein never really threatened, and although Cyprus picked up yellow cards through Andronikos Kakoullis (67') and Giannis Satsias (75'), the result was never in doubt. For Cyprus, the win extends a productive stretch of form and offers real encouragement heading into the summer break. For Liechtenstein, it was a fifth defeat in six matches, with pressing questions remaining about where the goals will come from.
