الجزایر مقابل گواتمالا

Algeria delivered a devastating display in Genoa, dismantling Guatemala 7-0 in a friendly at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Amine Gouiri set the tone with the opener on 19 minutes before Riyad Mahrez converted a penalty on the half-hour mark to double the lead. Achref Abada added a third in first-half stoppage time, and any slim hopes of a Guatemala fightback evaporated when Houssem Aouar struck just two minutes into the second half (47'). Gouiri then grabbed his second of the night on the hour mark to make it five. The goals kept coming as Farès Ghedjemis (76') and Ahmed Benbouali (82') completed a miserable evening for the Central Americans. For Algeria, it was the perfect confidence booster ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Guatemala, meanwhile, return home with plenty to reflect on as they look to rebuild for the future.
