Montenegro eased to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Andorra in a low-key international friendly at the Stadion Pod Goricom in Podgorica on Thursday evening. Stefan Mugoša broke the deadlock from the penalty spot on 40 minutes to give the hosts a deserved half-time lead. The second half followed a similar pattern, with Montenegro controlling possession against a stubborn Andorra rearguard. The visitors held firm for long stretches but were finally undone when Milutin Osmajić found space inside the box to double the advantage in the 80th minute, effectively killing the contest. It was a professional if unspectacular outing for Montenegro, who will take confidence from a clean sheet and two well-taken goals. For Andorra, the defensive effort was admirable for much of the night, but the quality gap ultimately told.
