Al Kholood grabbed a vital away win at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium on Saturday, downing Al Taawon 2-1 in the Saudi Pro League with all the drama packed into the opening half hour.
Al Kholood took the lead in the fourth minute through a Shaquille Pinas penalty, with Al Taawon's goalkeeper Mailson having already earned a yellow card inside the first minute. Mohammed Al Dossari restored parity at 1-1 in the eighth minute, but Guga, teed up by H. Bahebri, put Al Kholood back in front on 23 minutes — and that was how it stayed.
