La Louvière vs KRC Genk

RAAL La Louvière and Racing Genk played out an astonishing 5-5 draw at the Easi Arena, with Wagane Faye's late header denying Genk a place in the Champions' Play-offs. Genk raced into a 2-0 lead through Daan Heymans (6') and Robin Mirisola (15'), but Yllan Okou and Jerry Afriyie hauled La Louvière level before Junya Ito (45+3') restored Genk's lead at the break. Zakaria El Ouahdi (50') made it 2-4 early in the second half. La Louvière refused to fold. Nachon Nsingi and Faye dragged it back to 4-4, and when Aaron Bibout headed Genk back in front at 4-5, it looked settled. But Faye rose highest in the dying minutes to nod home his second and complete a stunning comeback. The draw leaves Genk seventh on 42 points, dropping into the Europa Play-offs. La Louvière head to the Relegation Play-offs despite a heroic showing.
