Riga FC vs Jablonec

Riga FC and Jablonec drew 1-1 in Riga on Thursday night, a third draw from three league-phase games for the home side and a second for the Czech club. The hosts went ahead in the 35th minute. Reginaldo Ramires converted a penalty, awarded after a foul by Jablonec goalkeeper Klemen Mihelak, who was in goal because regular keeper Jan Hanus is injured. The visitors levelled four minutes after the restart. Sebastian Nebyla answered at once with a precise cross-shot. Riga thought they had a second soon afterwards, but VAR ruled the goal out for an earlier foul. Toninsevs was booked for the hosts, while Pavlovic and Slama went into the book for Jablonec. There were no red cards. Riga sit 19th on three points, with a home unbeaten run now at 24 competitive games. Jablonec are 23rd on two points, after losing at Freiburg and drawing 0-0 with Brighton. They host Lugano on 26 November.
