Juarez vs Tigres UANL

Juárez finally have something to celebrate, snapping an eight-match losing streak with a 2-0 win over Tigres UANL at Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez. It's the Bravos' first victory of the Apertura 2026 after a run so bad it cost both their coach and sporting director their jobs. The breakthrough came from Óscar Estupiñán, who scored twice in the second half. He opened the scoring in the 66th minute from the penalty spot, sending goalkeeper Nahuel Guzmán the wrong way, then doubled the lead in the 79th with a well-placed header. The double pushed him to 33 career goals for the club, matching Darío Lezcano's all-time franchise scoring record. Despite the win, Juárez stay bottom of the table with just three points. For Tigres, the loss stretches their own winless run to eight games, leaving them 15th with seven points and searching for answers.
