신트 트라이덴 vs 이베리아 1999

St. Truiden began their Conference League league phase with a 2-0 home win over Iberia 1999 on Thursday night, with a long-range lob from Ilias Sebaoui late on settling the margin. Robert-Jan Vanwesemael gave the hosts the lead in the 11th minute, and that was the score at half-time. St. Truiden then had to protect the single goal for most of the second half. The second came in the 88th minute. Sebaoui struck from close to the halfway line and lifted the ball over the goalkeeper, which ended any hope of a late recovery for the Georgian side. For St. Truiden, it is three points from matchday 1 of the new league phase. Iberia 1999 start with nothing, having been beaten 2-0 in the first game of their league campaign.
