신트 트라이덴 vs 브란

St. Truiden drew 1-1 with Brann at Stayen in the Conference League, and the Belgian side will feel they let a win go. They were the better team for long spells and had a lead until the final quarter of an hour. The first half finished goalless. St. Truiden had the better chances, and Shion Shinkawa went closest when his header just before the break was saved by Nilsen. Brann held more of the ball but created little. The breakthrough came three minutes after the restart. Nelson Ishiwatari saw his first effort blocked and scored from the rebound in the 48th minute, after Nathanael Mbuku had worked the ball into the box. Brann pushed harder from there, and Kokubo made a double save to deny Ingason and Mathisen. Joedrick Pupe also made a key tackle when Mathisen was through. The equaliser arrived in the 78th minute, when Ingason crossed and Ulrik Mathisen headed past Kokubo. It was the first time St. Truiden dropped points in the league phase. They stay unbeaten and sit tenth on seven points from three games, with Brann sixth on the same total.
