Культурал и Депортива Леонеса

Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa, commonly known as Cultural Leonesa, was founded in 1923 in Leon, Castile and Leon, Spain. The club has spent most of its history in the lower divisions of Spanish football, though it has experienced spells in the Segunda Division. Playing home matches at Estadio Municipal Reino de Leon, a 13,451-capacity ground, Cultural Leonesa represents a city with a proud sporting tradition. The club reached national attention with several strong Segunda Division campaigns and serves as an important feeder club for the broader Spanish football pyramid. Despite limited resources compared to larger Spanish clubs, Cultural Leonesa maintains a dedicated local fanbase and continues to develop young talent from the Castile and Leon region. The club's resilience and community ties make it a valued institution in Spanish lower-league football.
