チャールトン・アスレティック

Charlton Athletic FC, founded in 1905, is based in Charlton, southeast London, and competes in the Championship. The club plays at The Valley, a large and storied stadium with a capacity of over 27,000. Known as the Addicks, Charlton won the FA Cup in 1947 and were a Premier League fixture in the late 1990s and early 2000s, famously overcoming near-extinction and groundlessness to reclaim their identity. Their story of supporter-driven return to The Valley in 1992 after seven years away is one of English football's most celebrated tales of fan power. Charlton have faced recurring ownership instability in recent years, but their passionate southeast London fanbase and strong community ties continue to define their identity as a club that prioritises heart over financial might.
