מונאקו vs לאנס

Monaco edged past Lens 2-1 at the Stade Louis-II to reclaim top spot in Ligue 1, in a game that swung on a cruel late own goal. The standout early moment was Monaco needing three attempts to break the deadlock, with two goals ruled out for offside before they finally found a way through. Paris Brunner opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, tapping in after Matthis Abline beat Jean-Clair Todibo down the right and squared the ball to an unmarked Brunner for his sixth goal of the season. Lens hit back through Matthieu Udol in the 57th minute, who lost his marker to head home a Florian Thauvin corner. The decisive blow came in the 84th minute when Jonathan Gradit turned a Vanderson cross into his own net, handing Monaco the win. The result keeps Monaco unbeaten and back at the top of the table, a good response after Abline's frustrating night with the offside flag. For Lens, it was a bruising start to the Yannick Cahuzac era, with Todibo struggling badly before being replaced at the break as the visitors slipped to defeat despite their spirited response.
