Rennes produced a ruthless display at the Allianz Riviera, dismantling Nice 4-0 to claim a fourth consecutive Ligue 1 victory. The visitors were clinical from the off, with Esteban Lepaul firing home from a Valentin Rongier cutback in the 13th minute to set the tone. Sebastian Szymański doubled the lead just seven minutes later, converting a Musa Tamari pass with a deflected strike that left the Nice defence reeling. The hosts had no answer as Franck Haise's side controlled proceedings throughout. Substitutes made the difference in the second half. Ludovic Blas embarked on a brilliant solo run before slotting into the far corner on 74 minutes, and Nordan Mukielé curled in a stoppage-time fourth to put the seal on a dominant afternoon. The result lifts Rennes into the European places, while Nice remain winless in seven league games and continue to look nervously over their shoulders toward the bottom of the table.
