Alverca turned a one-goal deficit into a convincing 3-1 victory over Casa Pia on Sunday, mounting a clinical second-half comeback that left little doubt about who deserved the three points. João Marques handed Casa Pia a dream start inside the very first minute, but the lead evaporated quickly after the interval. Figueiredo levelled at 49', before Chiquinho gave the hosts the advantage with a tidy 63rd-minute finish. Rhaldney put the result beyond doubt at 83', completing a commanding second-half display by the home side. The win moves Alverca comfortably into the top half of the table and removes any lingering anxiety about a relegation scrap. For Casa Pia, it is another damaging setback, their fight for survival just got significantly harder with only a handful of rounds remaining.
