Nagoya Grampus host Urawa Reds at Toyota Stadium on 28 October in the fourth round of the League Cup. The winner goes into the Prime Round, which starts on 11 November. Nagoya arrive on a better run than they had a month ago. They lost three league games in a row in September, then won 2-1 at Kawasaki Frontale and 3-1 at Kashiwa Reysol. In round three they beat Okayama on penalties after a 3-3 draw and extra time, with Kota Koda scoring twice. Urawa have gone the other way. They lost 3-0 at FC Tokyo on 10 October and 1-0 at Mito Hollyhock a week later, scoring nothing in either game.
