Μπάγερν Μονάχου vs Μαγδεμβούργο

Bayern Munich reached the last 16 of the Cup with a 6-1 win over Magdeburg at the Allianz Arena, and they did it with Harry Kane on the bench. Michael Olise scored twice. Olise put the hosts ahead after 10 minutes, but Mateusz Zukowski levelled for the second-tier visitors in the 15th. Ismael Saibari, playing as the centre-forward, restored the lead in the 21st, and Magdeburg's Baris Atik hit the post in first-half stoppage time. Bayern led 2-1 at the break. The second half got away from the visitors. Alphonso Davies was fouled in the box and Olise scored the penalty in the 50th minute. Davies made it 4-1 in the 70th, Nathaniel Brown added a fifth three minutes later, and teenager David Santos Daiber scored in the 93rd. Interim coach Aaron Danks made his changes with Manuel Neuer and Jamal Musiala still out injured. Bayern go into the last 16 draw, while Magdeburg, who beat them in this competition in 2000, are out.
