Sevilla sit sixth on 17 points and Alaves are eleventh on 12, so Friday's game at the Sanchez-Pizjuan is a chance for the hosts to put five points between them and a mid-table rival. Alaves have won three of the last six meetings, though, and drew 1-1 in Seville in February. Sevilla lost 3-1 at Getafe last time out, after a 2-0 win over Osasuna and a 4-1 defeat at Real Madrid. They are without Manu Bueno (suspended) and Marcao, while Kike Salas is back with one doubt still in the squad. Lucas Stassin leads the line. Alaves arrive after a 6-1 home loss to Barcelona and have not won away this season, with two draws and three defeats and 11 goals conceded. Lucas Boye and Angel Perez carry their threat.
