Αλ Νατζμά SC vs Αλ Ιτιχάντ

Al-Ittihad made light work of Al-Najma in the King's Cup round of 32, running out comfortable 3-0 winners at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. The scoreline made for a fitting first outing under new head coach Jens Wissing, who took charge with a routine, low-drama victory over lower-tier opposition. The visitors set the tone early, going into the break two goals to the good before adding a third after the restart to put the tie out of reach. Al-Najma never found a way back into the contest and could not manage a reply of their own. For Al-Ittihad, the win offers early reassurance under Wissing after a trophyless campaign that cost Sérgio Conceição his job, and sends them through to the round of 16. For Al-Najma, freshly relegated to the second tier, it's a reminder of the gap they must close, with their King's Cup run ending at the first hurdle.
