Сантос срещу Палмейрас

Santos and Palmeiras played out a goalless draw at Vila Belmiro in the second leg of their Copa do Brasil quarterfinal, but the result changed nothing for the home side after their 3-0 first-leg defeat. The standout moment came early, setting a tense, physical tone that never really let up over the full 90 minutes. Just a minute in, Felipe Anderson's challenge on Neymar drew a yellow card, with Santos' Gonzalo Escobar also booked in the opening exchanges. Mauricio spurned Santos' best chance in the first half, firing over the crossbar, while Vitor Roque headed wide for Palmeiras after the break. Neymar felt discomfort in his leg and was withdrawn for Rony in the second half, with Khellven also coming on for Palmeiras and Daivinho and Moises introduced by Santos. No goals meant no drama on the night, and Palmeiras cruised through to the semifinals on a 3-0 aggregate, where they'll meet Vasco da Gama. For Santos, the elimination ends their Copa do Brasil campaign, and attention now turns to Brasileirao duties against Internacional.
