The club plays home matches at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, which holds 51,762 spectators. Nicknamed 'Masandawana' or 'The Brazilians,' Sundowns have won the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) title a record number of times. Under the ownership of billionaire Patrice Motsepe and with coach Rhulani Mokwena guiding the squad, Sundowns have become a continental powerhouse. The club competes regularly in the CAF Champions League group stage and has represented Africa in the FIFA Club World Cup.
